We never breed until the Dame has reached her second Birthday and at least two heat cycles. Each Dame has a one litter a year. Occasionally they have two litters and then get a years break.  Our pups are home loved not puppy mill products. We bring them in the house, most days to feed and play. We do this because they are so cute and cuddly, but also it makes them very sociable. We have a 5000sqft home with a very large basement. All Frenchies go to the Vet for an Ultrasound, we know how many and when the pups are due.  Mother to be, spends a few days sleeping in the whelping area in the basement prior to whelping day. We watch the Dame very closely, monitoring her temperature and watching for signs of the start of labor. . Frenchies stay in our bedroom at night for the first two weeks with their babies.  Puppy mills have mortality rates of 30%, our rate is less than 2%.  But that is part of the difference between Mills and Family raised pups. We keep our Dames in tip top condition. We feed the best foods, we supplement their diets with vitamins. We keep current on shots and worming. We pay attention to hygiene. Our dogs and pups get regular Vet checkups.  Our Vet greets our dogs with the their names.

We worm at 4, 6 and 8 weeks and start first shots at 6 weeks. We wean from mother beginning the fourth week. Our Vet sees the mother and pups the day after birth an as whelping progresses. We guarantee our pups to be healthy when they go to their new homes at 8-9 weeks. We also guarantee against life threatening genetic defects. We give full breeding rights with all puppies.  All our Dames and Sires have a calm  and sweet disposition (Not Hyper). We choose Males with similar qualities from breeders we know. We look for good conformation, championship bloodlines and above all a calm character. We are very proud of our girls and would be happy to provide phone numbers of past customers.
